Sophia Bush is a strong, fierce woman and she's not letting creepy men rule her life! On Friday, the Chicago P.D. actress had an unpleasant encounter with a man on a plane and she took to Twitter to call him out and we are totally obsessed with her style and tactic.
The 34-year-old star penned a letter to this random guy, who she refers to as, "Random Dude on a plane," on social media and put him on blast for making her so uncomfortable. She also showed women everywhere that enough is enough, creepy dudes do not rule this world!
"When you make a woman so visibly uncomfortable, that after you've ignored all visual cues to please leave her alone (one word answers, she pulls out a book, puts on a hat, she actually asks you not to speak to her with the tone and words you're choosing to use) that she finally GETS UP and MOVES SEATS, leave her alone. Do not continue trying to make conversation," the former One Tree Hill actress began her note.
“Stop turning around and looking at her," she continued. "Stop leaning out of your seat and towards her body when she has to grab something out of the overhead bin above her original seat, and sadly also above you, mid-flight."
Bush then called the guy out for his strange and unpleasant actions, and referenced the unfortunate side of fame that many stars have to deal with. "And in my case, stop believing that you are entitled to make me uncomfortable because you 'watch my TV show' so I owe you some magical debt," she explained.
"I make it, you watch it. After that, the 'exchange' is done. You do not get to harass me, or any woman, because you think you pay our bills. You don't bro, I DO."
"Signed, Every Woman On The Planet Who Is Sick of Your Creepy S–t," Bush ended her perfectly written note. You go girl!
Take note all you creepers out there, no woman, famous or not, deserves to be gawked at or made uncomfortable. Thank you, Sophia, you are forever our girl crush and social media hero!
