Mo'Nique And Her Husband Say She Told The Truth: Oprah, Lee Daniels And Tyler Perry Blackballed Her

Mo’Nique is not backing down – but do you think she’s justified?

The comedian recently fired some serious shots at Oprah, Tyler Perry and director Lee Daniels during a stand-up routine, which she immediately doubled down on in an interview with TMZ.

All this goes back to 2010, when Mo’Nique was starring in Precious, directed by Lee (she won an Oscar for her role). Now, you’d think that she’d have major spots in big films practically thrown at her since that achievement, but in reality, she’s only been given four films since. And the actress isn’t shy about discussing why, claiming in a 2015 interview that she’d been “blackballed” by Daniels.

For his part, the director responded by claiming her, “demands through Precious were not always in line with the campaign,” adding that Mo’Nique, “soured her relationship with the Hollywood community.”

But even though those comments are now two years old, the heat on this feud just got turned way up during Mo’Nique’s recent routine at the Apollo. She seems to have decided she wasn’t “blackballed” anymore – she’s got a new term for it:

“What is that black d—k connected to? That black man? So no, I was not blackballed. I was white-balled by some black d—ks who have no balls. Thank you, Mr. Lee Daniels. Thank you, Mr. Tyler Perry. Thank you, Ms. Oprah Winfrey.”

She also addressed why this trio of Hollwood power players have a problem with her. “I know they like to say, ‘Mo’Nique, you talk too mother f**king much.’ It would kill me not to say the real sh!t. You are not paying me equally. You are not treating me fairly, so you can suck my d—k if I had one.”

If the addition of Tyler Perry and Oprah to that list seemed odd to you, it did to the rest of the world too. But don't worry, Mo’ commented on it almost immediately in a new TMZ interview. She and her husband, Sidney Hicks, claimed the two superstars assisted Daniels in spreading the word about her reputation and they aren't apologetic for her stand-up.

Speaking of TMZ, they also caught up to Kevin Hart recently and asked him point-blank about the feud.  The comedian, who’s friends with all four parties involved, was pretty noncommittal: "I wish nothing but happiness for everybody, and whatever those problems are, hopefully, they can all find a way to resolve them and work together."

This is messy ya'll. What do you think of Mo’Nique vs. Hollywood? Who’s really to blame?

TOM BOMBADIL

I had a rough childhood. I watched my parents murdered right before my eyes. Shot point-blank by some two-bit thug.

So I ran away from Gotham and wandered the earth, until eventually Liam Neeson found me in an obscure Asian jail. He gave me a home, taught me to fight, and showed me the true meaning of justice meant wearing black rubber latex and speaking really deeply.

Then I killed him with a flying commuter train.
