The Kylie Jenner we normally see is a lip-kit toting, selfie-snapping, booty-flaunting celebrity who lets nothing slow her down. But on her new reality show Life of Kylie, the 19-year-old is giving us a raw look at who she *really* is behind the filters and camera lenses, from the pressures of growing up in the spotlight to her struggle to relate to people — and now, heartbreak.
In a sneak peek of an upcoming episode, Kylie gets candid about what it's like to date in the public eye. Shockingly, she even opens up about why her relationship with Tyga — which has mostly been scrubbed from her Instagram account since their breakup this spring — may have been destined to fail from the very start.
"Come on, what's going on?" her dad Caitlyn Jenner asks in the beginning of the clip, poking Kylie to get up. "Do you have any life left in you?"
For Kylie, “The hardest part about having a relationship for me is just that it’s blasted all over the Internet,” she tells producers in a later confessional. “You have to hear about other people’s opinions on who you’re with. It’s a lot. Most of the time it’s just not true. Like, you have no idea what I’m like in a relationship, (or) what kind of bond I have with somebody else.”
In an effort to cheer her daughter up, Caitlyn gets Kylie's pet chicken and brings it to her bedside. But not even a shaggy little bird can brighten her spirits: "I feel horrible," Kylie says, looking genuinely miserable.
The clip shows an ultra-rare side of Kylie, who hardly *ever* responds to the haters, trolls, and rumor mills that constantly churn out opinions about her love life.
"You cannot win with Internet," she continues. "There's no winning. It’s just unnecessary negativity. I feel like I’m in a relationship with the world sometimes."
