Channing Tatum Shared A Heartfelt Mother's Day Message For Jenna Dewan & Our Hearts Are Breaking All Over Again

What does Channing Tatum think he's doing exactly?! Just when we were (barely) starting to get over his split with Jenna Dewan, he shared a sentimental Mother's Day message on his Instagram Story for his ex, and it's A Lot. I can barely breathe right now.

"Happy Mother's Day everybody. Jenna, happy Mother's Day, baby. Mama, happy Mother's Day. Hope you're enjoying this beautiful sunset. Love you guys," Channing says in the video.

I'm sorry, sunset? What sunset? All I noticed was Channing's mouth, saying the word "baby" TO JENNA. He called her "baby!!!" And I am typing this from the hospital.

What is happening? Is this real? Please don't play with our hearts like this.

Channing and Jenna were married for almost nine years, and they were basically our only hope that true love can last between two incredibly hot and talented people. So when the couple announced their separation via Twitter at the beginning of April, people's worlds were understandably rocked.

But honestly, even their separation seemed really healthy and affectionate. They released a joint statement announcing that they "have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple."

After the break-up, Jenna promptly dropped the "Tatum" from her name on Instagram, but Channing continued to casually like her photos. And now, there's the Mother's Day message.

Sure, it's just one line, but do people normally call their exes "baby" and like their Instagram photos if they're not still in love with them? I think we all know the answer to that one.

Channing and Jenna should, of course, do whatever is best for them as a couple — but also they should definitely just get back together because come on, it's 2018 and the news is terrible most days and we need this. Their fans are pretty much in agreement.

Perhaps — hear me out — when they said that "it's time to take some space," they only meant a month and a half, which is how long it's been. Maybe?

In any case, Jenna Dewan did, indeed, have a wonderful Mother's Day. It was her first Mother's Day solo, and she spent it with her 4-year-old daughter, Everly.

Maybe these two are just on friendly co-parenting terms. But "baby," though? IDK, we'll see.
